If you happen to be in New York and wandering around Greenwich Village on Tuesday 15th September, please stop by the Barnes and Noble and say hi. I’ll be reading from Crossing Washington Square at 7.30pm that night (and most probably following up with a few celebratory margaritas. if you want to join me for that too!). The reading actually got a mention in a big Barnes and Noble ad in The New York Times last week. I must be a literary heavyweight because, apparently, I’m listed among Salman Rushdie and E.L.Doctorow. But please don’t be swayed and go to their readings instead. I promise to be a lot more fun!
I’ll be reading in DC later this month. Watch this space for details.
I’m a New Yorker and can’t wait to meet you in person at your author reading and signing today in Greenwich Village. I just started reading Crossing Washington Square today and it’s a really good read so far but hearing you read it might just make it better.
I’m bring both my copies of your first novel Professors’ Wives’ Club and Crossing Washington Square for you to sign. I hope that’s okay and they don’t think I stole them since I don’t have receipts for when I bought them.
