Last week my book, The Professor’s Wives Club, was bought by New American Library (woohoo!). It has taken me a week to recover – although not fully – from the margarita-haze, but here I am writing my first entry on my very own blog. I’m feeling more than a little proud of myself for navigating blogger, picking my font colors, inserting pictures, and listing my links. Although, if I’m honest, the whole system is pretty idiot-friendly and I’m certain my three year old could create himself a blogspot (if he would just sit still for five minutes).
Anyhoo, this is going to be fun.

and yes, that’s Benny – my barrette wearing boy! i can’t just bring myself to cut his golden locks and the barrette is the only way to keep it out of paint, snot, oatmeal, soup, ketchup….
